Retirement fellowship brings health and social care professionals together at Wade
The Retirement Fellowship continues to provide a welcoming place for retired health and social care professionals to meet, socialise and enjoy a varied programme of activities at the Wade Conference Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
Gatherings take place on the last Thursday of every month, bringing members together over tea, coffee and biscuits in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Open to anyone from a health or social care background, the Fellowship offers an opportunity to maintain friendships, make new connections and stay involved with a community of people who share similar professional experiences. Associate membership is also available for spouses, partners and friends.
Monthly talks and social events
Each monthly gathering includes a guest speaker, with talks covering a wide variety of subjects and interests.
Alongside the regular meetings, members can also enjoy a broader programme of social activities throughout the year. These include summer and Christmas lunches, as well as a selection of coach trips, giving members further opportunities to spend time together and visit new places.
The Fellowship has developed into much more than a monthly meeting. It offers an important social connection for people who have spent their working lives in health and social care, providing a friendly environment in which to share experiences and enjoy retirement together.
